How will the programme be delivered?

The programme will be delivered by Corndel, an award-winning apprenticeship provider. All of Corndel’s programmes are delivered using their unique delivery model – a blended approach that combines one-to-one coaching with a Professional Development Expert, peer learning through interactive workshops and self-learning through bite-size portfolio development. The programme is delivered virtually to ensure that learners from across the country can participate and will welcome learners from a variety of charities in a connected cohort.

How is the programme funded?

The programme will be fully funded for select non-profit organisations using American Express’ Apprenticeship Levy.  American Express has no role in selection of the candidates and delivery of the programme.

The Apprenticeship Levy is a Government Programme to support to development and training of people into, and within, organisations. Any organisation that has an annual pay bill of £3m+ automatically pays 0.5% of their annual pay bill into a Levy pot. This pot can only be spent on Government-approved training providers (such as Corndel) who deliver Apprenticeship Standard training.

Employers, such as American Express, which pay into the Apprenticeship Levy, have the ability to transfer 50% of their Levy fund to help support learning & development in other organisations.

The Levy Gifting process will be explained in detail during the information session on the 25 June.
