Smaller Organisations - Online Roundtable Meeting
A chance for smaller community and voluntary sector organisations to come together online and discuss experiences, challenges and priorities.
Are you a smaller organisation working in Brighton & Hove and/or Adur & Worthing, with at least one paid staff member and income up to £500,000 per year?
Do you sometimes feel stuck between the opportunities that exist for ‘small groups’ and ‘larger charities’ when:
- accessing funding and other support
- attending events
- contributing to sector discussions
- making your voice heard?
Would you like the opportunity to share your experiences, needs and priorities with Community Works, so that we can support you more effectively and better represent the ‘smaller organisation’ category to local authorities, the NHS and other partners?
If so, you’re invited to join our Online Roundtable meeting.
This will bring together smaller organisations from both Brighton & Hove, and Adur & Worthing (the area in which Community Works operates) for an open conversation on topics such as:
- obtaining funding from council, NHS and other sources
- opportunities to inform local policy and strategy
- leading and managing your organisation
- your strengths, aims and ambitions
- your current challenges
All smaller organisations welcome!
The Zoom link will be sent to all participants before the meeting.
Accessibility
Please let us know if you would like closed captions during the session.
As this is a short session we do not have a planned break. The session will be recorded and sent round afterwards if you need to step away.
Online meetings can be challenging. Feel free to contact Community Works staff during the session through the chat box with anything that has come up.
If there is anything else we can do to make this event accessible to you, please let us know.
