About Moulsecoomb Local Action Team
The Moulsecoomb Local Action Team (MLAT) are a group of residents and service providers who live and/or work in the areas of Moulsecoomb, Bates Estate and Higher Bevendean. They meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except August) from 10.30 - 12.30pm at Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre to discuss local neighbourhood priorities including; health, crime and safety, the environment, communication and youth work. The MLAT do regular estate walkabouts, publish 2 newsletters a year and distribute thousands of pounds in Healthy Neighbourhood Funding to small local groups and consult on neighbourhood related initiatives. They are always interest in feedback from local residents.
