About Active Worthing Wellbeing Centre CIC
Active Worthing and we come with two branches. One is Life Skills Club. We aim to combat social isolation and loneliness. These sessions are is aimed at those who are socially isolated and lonely in the community. This also includes some of the Acquired Brain Injury clients (depending on where they are on their recovery journey). The majority of our clients have disabilities and other health related conditions e.g. acquired brain injury e.g. stroke, parkinsons, dementia, MS, diabetes, learning disabilities, mental health, and others who are simply just socially isolated and very much lonely in the community. We are supporting them in making friendships. PAs or a family member can come along too. The other branch is a GP referral exercises.
