About RNID Near You
The RNID Near You service runs across Brighton and West Sussex, providing support to people living with hearing loss, tinnitus and deafness. The RNID is a charity that are offering drop-in sessions which are completely free, and provide essential, practical support for people with hearing loss. The sessions enable people with NHS hearing aids by providing new batteries, retubing, cleaning and maintenance advice, as well as providing information about living with hearing loss and tinnitus. We can also support people in connecting their hearing aid to their mobile phone device, as well as helping people to access local support services and benefits. If a person comes in concerned about potential hearing loss, we can provide a free, quick and easy hearing check, and offer support and guidance on next steps if the check shows signs of hearing loss.
