Pride Month is here!
Throughout June, we come together to honour and uplift LGBTQ+ people in our communities – in Brighton, Hove, Adur, and Worthing, and beyond.
Pride Month offers us the opportunity not only to celebrate love, self-expression and equality, but also to reflect on the challenges that many LGBTQ+ people continue to face.
At Community Works, our commitment to inclusion, respect, and belonging isn’t limited to a single month. We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and valued – every day of the year. Whether through the services we provide, the partnerships we build, or the culture we foster within our own organisation, we work to create spaces where people can live authentically, without fear or judgement.
We know that Pride is both a celebration and a reminder – a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a reminder of the work still to do to achieve full equality and acceptance for all.
As Pride Month unfolds, we reaffirm our dedication to being an inclusive charity that actively uplifts LGBTQ+ voices and experiences. We’re proud to support and stand with our LGBTQ+ colleagues, clients, volunteers and communities – this month and always.
