Active Social Club CIC
We aim to combat social isolation and loneliness. We provide face to face sessions to meet in the community. This enables clients to come out, socialise and meet in this safe and friendly space. We support clients from 18 years. Our clients are a combination of those with acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, mental health and those who are lonely and isolated in society. We therefore facilitate friendships and people are regaining lost ambitions and aspirations
We work with partner groups e.g. housing associations, social prescribers, stroke and brain injury groups to bring people together. Essential support for Acquired Brain Injury clients: - In our area of work, there are few support groups available for this client group.
Inclusive and Diversity – We proudly represent a diverse group of individuals across various ages and backgrounds. Unlike many organisations that focus solely on those aged 60 and above, we bridge this gap for those aged 18 to 59. Our approach also welcomes families with children under 18 when accompanied thereby promoting a holistic family experience, especially during holidays.
