We are collaborating with violence prevention charity Protection Approaches to bring you this free 2 hour interactive course to empower people to take action to prevent or reduce harm when they encounter hate crime.

The expert-led sessions guide participants through a series of discussions, exploring how they can safely address identity-based harms in their community, school, or workplace.

You will learn:

  • What it really means to be an active bystander – exploring perspectives, responsibilities, and boundaries
  • A.C.T. (Address, Connect, Tell) – immediate tools for real-life situations
  • Creating a culture of care – simple, everyday actions that help reduce harm in the long term.

If you can’t make this date, there is another in-person date on Thursday 11 February.

These sessions are funded by the Your Station, Your Community Fund. We’re grateful to Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern Railway for funding hundreds of places on free training sessions to empower people to take action to prevent or reduce harm when they encounter hate crime.
