Bridging Change

Bridging Change aims to create a more equal and diverse society with positive outcomes for Black and minoritised ethnic people. We do this through the building of strong alliances, connections and networks.

They are driven by the belief that Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic organisations, groups, communities and individuals are strongest when they work together to challenge systemic barriers. Bridging Change wants to see a society where all individuals and communities have equal opportunities and feel valued and a sense of belonging in their locality.

Current projects include:

  • help for older people to access support
  • improve understanding of the connection between racial and environmental inequality
  • support mental health and wellbeing
  • amplify community voices to influence NHS and council services

You can find their contact details at Contact Us | Bridging Change

Brighton & Hove Faith in Action

BHFA is a multi-faith charity bringing together people from across Brighton and Hove who find common ground in wanting to help the poor and the persecuted, the hungry and the homeless, the lonely and the vulnerable.

They organise events which are open to the public including the Faith Council. Observers are most welcome to attend.

Everyone is most warmly invited whether you are a person of faith or not.

Working to Connect

WTC supports smaller LGBTQIA+ community groups which are run ‘by and for’ particular communities with shared interest and identities.

Their main focus is to strengthen their member groups’ visibility and amplify their collective voice.

Member groups bring together people with a shared identity for peer support, socialising, activism and leisure activities such as a choir or sport.
