About TFORTRANSITION CIC

We’re a preventative model designed to support children and young people at key educational transition points. Our work focuses particularly on those at risk of emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA) and disengagement from education, which can lead to young people becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET). This work is strongly driven by my lived experience, which has given us a deep understanding of the challenges young people face when navigating education systems that do not always meet their needs. It is this perspective that underpins our commitment to early, compassionate, and meaningful intervention. We’re passionate about addressing challenges before they escalate into crisis. Through a relationship-based and trauma-informed approach, we work with young people, families, and educational settings to build trust, strengthen engagement, and create sustainable pathways through education. We believe that many young people fall through gaps in the system during periods of transition, particularly when their needs are not yet deemed severe enough for statutory intervention. By working preventatively, TFROTRANSTION CIC aims to reduce these gaps and provide timely, meaningful support. We value the importance of collaborative, community-led approaches to supporting children and young people. We would welcome the opportunity to contribute, share learning, and develop partnerships that improve outcomes for young people locally.
