Our continued support for Adur & Worthing’s VCSE Sector

From July onwards, Community Works will continue to offer support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) groups across Adur and Worthing — just in a different way.

What’s changing

Our direct contract with Adur & Worthing Councils is ending, which means some services (like 1:1 funding advice, networks & some training sessions, and bespoke development support) will no longer be funded. However, some services will be available to Community Works members:

What’s staying

• Advice and Support: you can still access one-to-one advice from our team offering practical guidance, signposting, and a listening ear to help you navigate challenges and grow your organisation

• Representation: we will continue to advocate for the Adur and Worthing VCSE sector across West Sussex at a strategic level

• Communications: you’ll still receive updates through our newsletters and e-lists spotlighting funding, partnerships and local opportunities

• Digital Resources: you can access our website which is full of useful support and information, as well as access to online training
