Our Community Works staff team and trustees recently came together for a collaborative Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) workshop as part of our ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable organisation.

Held at the Ansvar Community Hub on 16 July, the session provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far and explore the next steps in developing our EDI plan.

Together, we focused on four key areas:

  • Governance and Internal Communications
  • Member Support and Events
  • External Communications
  • Trustees, staff and volunteers

These conversations will help shape our priorities and ensure EDI remains at the heart of everything we do.
