Celebrate the contributions, creativity and achievements of refugees this Refugee Week (15-21 June)
This Refugee Week will see events taking place across Brighton and Hove in a celebration of the power of community and friendship.
Refugee Week is a global initiative that recognises refugees and people seeking sanctuary, centred around World Refugee Day on 20 June.
This year’s theme, Community as a Superpower, highlights the power of everyday kindness, shared generosity and connection.
A series of events are planned by Brighton and Hove libraries along with local organisations. See the Brighton and Hove City Council website for details.
